How to convert TP to DVD to watch HD TP files on DVD player
Just like many other netizens, one of my friend also like watching and sharing videos recorded by himself or downloaded from the internet. Recently he has recorded a HD TV show with .tp extension using a HDTV DVB-T card. But he doesn't know how to burn the TP files to DVD directly without a painful TP to AVI(or other popular formats) conversion. How to play TP files on PC
Since a TP file is a kind of transport stream video format that many media players maybe unable to play it. You will need an appropriate codec installed on your computer. A codec is a device or computer program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream or signal, in common language, a Media player.
In order to play TP file or other HD video file like TS and HD MKV on PC, a VLC player is recommended to use. Besides, you may download and install other codec packs like DirectShow FilterPack 3.2 or Windows Essentials Codec Pack which enables you to play TP file easily.
How to convert TP to DVD
Step 1: Download Aimersoft DVD Creator and install it
Meanwhile, you can insert DVD +R (DVD-R, DVD+RW or DVD-RW) into DVD burner(DVD optical drive).
Note: The DVD optical drive with write technology is required.
Step 2: Add TP files from your hard drive
Click "Load Video" to browse your computer and find the recorded TP files, add them to the program. Then they will appear in the collections pane. Double click one to play it in the right window(optional).
Drag and drop loaded TP videos to the storyboard below to make further operation.

Step 3: Convert TP to DVD directly
If you don't want to make any customization, of course you can convert TP to DVD directly.
Convert all TP video files in the storyboard to DVD: simply click the "Burn" tab, and a window will pop up for you to select converting TP to DVD disc, DVD folder or ISO, etc.
Convert just one TP file to DVD: select it in the storyboard, then click "Burn".

Step 4: Customize your TP DVD
If you prefer to create a more personalized TP video DVD, making a customized slideshow would be a good choice for you! After the loaded TP videos have been dragged and dropped to the storyboard, you can begin to customize your TP DVD movie.
Order: You can sort the order of the TP files in the storyboard by dragging and dropping.
Add a slide: right click mouse in the left area of the storyboard, select the first option "Add Slideshow" to add a slide. Then you can drag and drop other TP files to this slide. There are two other options: "Remove Slideshow" and "Play Slideshow", just do as you like.

Edit a video: select a TP file in the storyboard, right click mouse, and you will see three options: "Edit", "Remove", and "Clear All". Just select "Edit" and you may see a window with a box below for settings. Step 5: Transition
Click "Transition" and you will see all the available transition effects in the transition pane. A simple click could help you to display the transition effect in the right window. Just drag and drop the transition effect you want to apply to the middle of two TP video files in the slideshow storyboard.

Step 6: Customize DVD menu
Click "Menu" to customize your DVD menu. There are 60 built-in templates, frames and buttons for your choice. To apply a template, frame or button, you just need to double click it.
You can even add text, background music and image from your hard drive to customize the menu.

Step 7: Preview
Click "Preview" to preview your slideshow. This step is to help you decide if everything is what you have expected. If not, you can go back to any of the previous steps to make changes to your project.
Step 8: Click "Burn" tab
Burn TP to DVD disc: Click "Burn", select "DVD" option in the "Burn to" field, specify a temp folder (used to save the generated temporary files), select your DVD drive and burning program (either built-in or your own burning application), select your TV Standard and output Aspect Ratio, and click "Start" to burn your project.
Burn TP to ISO or DVD Folder: Click "Burn", select the "DVD Folder" or "ISO file" option, specify a folder to save generated DVD files, then click "Start" to start converting TP to ISO or DVD folder.

TV Standard: "NTSC" is 30 fps, which is used in USA, Canada and Japan; "PAL" is 25fps, which is used in Europe and Asia.
Tips: The used disc space is shown on the disc space bar underneath the storyboard; You can select the size of burning DVD between "DVD-R4.5G" and "DVD-R9.0G"; The output quality is also up to your choice, you may select "Low video quality", "High video quality" or "Highest video quality".
