How to Convert AVCHD Video to Playable DVD Disc

High Definition camcorder(also named AVCHD camcorder) is becoming more popular since it gives people better visual enjoying . Typically these sorts of videos are then meant to be burned to a high definition type of media such as a Blu-Ray disc. Part 1 Transfer AVCHD video to computer

AVCHD specification allows using several kinds of recording media, in particular recordable DVD discs, memory cards, and hard disk drives. If you have not done so already, plug in your camcorder to your PC. If an autoplay box does not appear, locate the camcorder's files on your PC. Two folders are needed in order to properly burn an AVCHD onto DVD, and they are BDMV and Certificate. Once they are located, copy and paste these two files onto your desktop. This could take anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes. And the AVCHD video will come to .MTS extension.

Part 2 Transfer videos to DVD

Step 1. install and Launch DVD Creator

After transfer videos from AVCHD video to computer, please download and install Aimersoft DVD Creator.

You can use it to make some editing, like adjusting video and transition effects, cropping, trimming, customizing DVD menu, etc. DVD Creator can burn home movies/videos to DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW. Generall speaking, DVD-R/RW is more compatible and more widely supported by DVD players. Just check the compatibility of your DVD player and DVD disc you select.

Step 2. Add your AVCHD videos files.

Click on Load Video button or select "Load Video" option under the "File" drop-down menu to add your videos. Drag and drop loaded videos to storyboard below to organize slideshow.

Step 3. Edit videos.

Select a video file in storyboard and click on Edit selected video file button to crop, trim, add watermark, plug in subtitles or adjust video effects, according to your specific request.

Step 4. Burn videos files to DVD.

Click on Burn button to burn video files to DVD. Before burning, you may select your output options: DVD disc, DVD folder, or ISO file. Also, please set the aspect ratio, etc.
